Permit Requirements

The OKR05 permit is a multi-sector general stormwater permit for industrial facilities. The most recent version of the OKR05 permit was issued on July 5, 2022 and modified on November 1, 2023. The 2022 permit can be found in PDF form here.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3)

For industrial permittees to comply with OKR05, they must write a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) and gain approval from DEQ before continuing industrial activities. A SWP3 must cover all industrial processes that may be exposed to stormwater, potential pollutants onsite, and BMPs to mitigate potential pollutant discharges. SWP3s must also cover required inspection and monitoring procedures. Refer to the OKR05 permit for detailed information.
