Permit Requirements

The OKR10 permit is a construction industry specific general stormwater permit. The most recent version of the OKR10 permit was issued on October 18, 2022 and modified on November 1, 2023. The 2022 permit can be found in PDF form here.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3)

For permittees to comply with OKR10, they must write a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) and gain approval from DEQ before any construction activities can begin. A SWP3 must cover all areas of a construction site that may be exposed to stormwater, management of potential pollutants onsite, and BMPs to control sediment pollution.
